CO Sen. Ray Scott

Sen. Ray Scott, a well-known climate change denier, introduced a 57-page bill in the final days of Colorado’s 2017 legislative session to slash incentives for clean energy. Scott’s Senate Bill 301 would increase registration fees for electric cars, repeal grants for renewable energy programs, block Colorado’s Energy Office from maintaining a list of solar installers and from offering training to install solar energy systems, among other things. The bill would also force the Energy Office to promote nuclear power.
