To celebrate the first anniversary of KWSI-LP, Grand Junction’s only low power public access radio station, Pablo’s Pizza will donate a portion of the day’s proceeds to KWSI-LP Radio. Radio volunteers (and Clawdia Coyote) will be available all day at Pablo’s. Stop by, and say hi. KWSI thanks Grand Junction for making it’s first year a success! KWSI-LP’s mission is to connect and empower underserved community members and organizations by providing opportunities and resources to enhance education and to inspire community engagement, action and volunteerism.
You can hear Amy Goodman’s Democracy Now on KWSI from 9:00 -10:00 a..m. and from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
KWSI is based in downtown Grand Junction and coverage is good in the Grand Junction area. With a good antenna, you may be able to pull in KWSI from Fruita to Palisade. And you can always listen online at this link.
