Mesa County Moms Against Bullying will hold it’s first public meeting is to inform the community about how they hope to assist parents and kids who are, or have been bullied in the past. They need the help of the community to push this serious issue to the forefront with the public and the school district. As we all have seen, political liberals, LGBT people, minorities, atheists and others who differ from the dominant political and religious ideologies in our area have all at one time or another been denigrated, harassed and bullied, even sometimes publicly and by people in elected offices and other official positions. It’s time for it to stop. Come join the meeting and let’s start working to reduce bullying in our community, among adults and children.
