On 9/9, Trump called Kim Jung Un “Rocket Man” and threatened in front of the United Nations General Assembly to “totally destroy” North Korea. In return, on 9/22, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un called President Trump a “mentally deranged U.S. dotard,” and vowed to “tame him” with fire. Kim’s use of the word “dotard” sent people around the U.S. scrambling for dictionaries and googling its meaning. What does “dotard” mean? It is an old word that Merriam-Webster defines as “a person in his or her dotage,” (an old person) who is in “a state or period of senile decay marked by decline of mental poise and alertness.”
Next the North Korean Foreign Minister stated the U.S. has declared war on it. Is a nuclear attack next?
